Chhattisgarh government is set to organise \u201cSushasan Tihar 2026\u201d on a large scale to further strengthen governance. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has issued detailed instructions to all district collectors for effective implementation of the campaign.<\/p>\n
Emphasising that timely redressal of public grievances is the cornerstone of good governance, Shri Sai said ensuring transparent, simple and prompt services to citizens is the government\u2019s top priority. Building on last year\u2019s success, the campaign will be expanded this year.<\/p>\n
Collectors have been directed to run a special drive till April 30 to clear pending cases, with priority to land-related matters such as mutation, partition and demarcation. Pending MGNREGA wages, beneficiary-oriented schemes, income, caste and domicile certificates, electricity issues and handpump repairs are also to be addressed on priority. Ensuring benefits of schemes like Ujjwala, ration cards, Ayushman Bharat and social security pensions to eligible beneficiaries has been stressed.<\/p>\n
Public grievance redressal camps will be held across the state from May 1 to June 10 in clusters of gram Panchayats and urban wards. Along with resolving complaints, the camps will promote awareness and provide on-the-spot benefits. Applications received are to be disposed of within a month, with applicants kept informed.<\/p>\n
Ministers, MPs, MLAs and senior officials will visit camps to review arrangements and interact with citizens. The Chief Minister will tour districts, conduct surprise inspections, review progress and interact directly with beneficiaries.<\/p>\n
During the campaign, Chief Minister Shri Sai will personally visit various districts to conduct surprise inspections of development works and scheme implementation. He will also interact directly with beneficiaries to gather feedback. Additionally, review meetings will be held with officials at district headquarters to assess the status of applications received in camps and the progress of schemes. After inspections and reviews, the Chief Minister will address the media and seek suggestions from social organizations and citizens.<\/p>\n
The campaign will be promoted widely to ensure maximum public participation, with collectors asked to make it an effective platform for delivering government schemes to every citizen.<\/p>\n
