Beneficiaries express gratitude after receiving waiver on outstanding electricity dues<\/p>\n
Raipur May 22, 2026\/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday interacted with beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Bijli Bhugtan Samadhan Yojana during a Sushasan Tihar Samadhan Shivir held at Karhibazar in Balodabazar district, where consumers shared how the scheme had eased the burden of pending electricity dues.<\/p>\n
Several beneficiaries received relief in outstanding electricity bills under the scheme. Among them, Shri Asharam of Bitkuli village received a waiver of \u20b911,625 on his pending electricity bill. Shri Babulal received relief of \u20b914,922, Shri Jagdish \u20b99,832, Smt. Budhyarin \u20b98,467 and Shri Chowaram \u20b913,325.<\/p>\n
During the interaction, beneficiaries told Chief Minister that rising electricity dues had earlier caused financial hardship for their families. They said the scheme had brought huge relief and enabled them to continue regular bill payments without additional economic pressure.<\/p>\n
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said the state government is committed to addressing public concerns with sensitivity and ensuring relief reaches common citizens through welfare-oriented initiatives. The government is continuously working to extend assistance to every section of society through various public welfare schemes.<\/p>\n
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and the state government, saying the scheme is proving especially helpful for economically weaker families.<\/p>\n
