Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai made these remarks while interacting with farmers from various districts during the \u2018Mukhya Mantri Kisan Samvad\u2019 programme held in Raipur on Wednesday.<br \/>\nSharing his personal experiences, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that he comes from a farming family and understands the needs, challenges, and aspirations of farmers firsthand. He noted that while agriculture was once heavily dependent on rainfall and lacked modern facilities, the adoption of machinery, scientific methods, and advanced technology has significantly improved productivity and created new opportunities for farmers.<br \/>\nHe remarked that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, farmers\u2019 welfare has been given top priority. Schemes such as PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, zero-interest agricultural loans, the provision of improved seeds, enhanced irrigation facilities, and farm mechanization have strengthened the economic condition of farmers. Referring to his interactions with farmers during Sushasan Tihaar, the Chief Minister said that government welfare schemes are bringing visible, positive changes to rural life, and the confidence observed among farmers reflects the success of these initiatives.<br \/>\nInteracting with &#8220;Drone Didis,&#8221; Chief Minister Shri Sai noted that drone technology is making agriculture more efficient through the application of nano urea and nano DAP, thereby reducing costs and saving time. He added that this technology is also creating new employment and self-employment opportunities for women.<br \/>\nDescribing nano urea, nano DAP, and organic farming as the future of agriculture, the Chief Minister explained that these practices help reduce input costs, increase productivity, and preserve soil fertility and environmental health. He urged farmers to adopt balanced fertilizer use alongside natural and organic farming methods.<br \/>\nAddressing concerns related to fertilizer availability, Shri Sai assured farmers that there is no need to heed rumors. Adequate stocks of fertilizers and seeds have been arranged for the upcoming Kharif season, and strict monitoring is being carried out to prevent black marketing and hoarding.<br \/>\nChief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized that crop diversification, horticulture, and natural and organic farming can significantly enhance farmers\u2019 incomes.
