Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Man Ki Baat’ Has Emerged as a Powerful Platform for Public Participation and Inspiration: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur, June 28, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai joined the public representatives and citizens, gathered at CM House today, to listen to the 135th episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s widely followed monthly radio programme ‘Man Ki Baat’. Describing the programme as a powerful bridge between leadership and the people, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that ‘Man Ki Baat’ program has evolved into an effective platform for public participation, dialogue and collective inspiration.

Shri Sai said that through every episode of ‘Man Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi highlights inspiring stories of innovation, community participation and exemplary grassroots initiatives from across the country, encouraging citizens to contribute towards nation-building and social transformation. He added that the mention of Chhattisgarh’s innovations and achievements time and again in several episodes of the programme has been a matter of immense pride for the state.

Chief Minister further noted that in this month’s address, the Prime Minister appealed to citizens to celebrate the forthcoming Ganesh Utsav in an environmentally responsible manner by installing idols of Lord Ganesha made from natural clay. He also underlined the significance of social security while elaborating on schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana. Furthermore, he urged people to conserve every drop of rainwater and transform water conservation into a nationwide people’s movement.

Shri Sai further said that Prime Minister Modi highlighted Meghalaya’s remarkable Living Root Bridges as an inspiring example of harmony between nature and human ingenuity. The Prime Minister also emphasised the need to eliminate superstitions through scientific thinking, logical reasoning and public awareness. Referring to Assam’s women-led “Hargila Army”, he described their efforts to conserve the endangered Greater Adjutant Stork and dispel myths associated with the bird as a commendable example of community-driven conservation and public awareness.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Prime Minister also spoke about initiatives such as the Nagaland Baby League and the Nagaland Women Futsal League, which are promoting a vibrant sporting culture in the state. He appreciated the efforts of Nalanda University and the Central Sanskrit University in advancing India’s rich knowledge tradition through modern technology. Prime Minister Shri Modi also mentioned that members of “Brahmakamal Dominicana” in the Dominican Republic are studying Vedic literature and developing a deeper connection with Indian culture. He further cited the inspiring work of women in Biaora of Rajgarh district in Madhya Pradesh, who are creatively transforming plastic waste into attractive public installations, setting an excellent example of cleanliness, sustainability and innovation.
